From my perspective, there have been a number of tangible benefits of being a member of the European Rental Association over the last few years, including direct access to the Senior Management of all of our key European Prospects, and also the various events providing an excellent Networking Forum for the whole European Market – as well as some members who are based further afield. It has proved fascinating to learn more about some specific customs and practices across a number of different countries with multiple lines of business, and the challenges that these present to the respective Rental Companies. The ERA has certainly allowed a number of Companies to review their own processes and evolve ‘best practice’ from better co-operation with other suppliers in their niche.
